Ariela Zagorini

Hi, my name is Ariela I came to building Futures Academy in August 2013. I have worked in the child development field for the past 19 years. I started out as an assistant, teaching gymnastics in an after school arts community program in my hometown of New Paltz, NY. I then worked for the YMCA for many years as Unit Director for a traditional summer day camp. During the school year I was heading up the YMCA before & after school program at the local elementary school. The YMCA gave me a great opportunity to start my own gymnastics program on Saturday mornings, and it was wonderful. I got to combine my love for gymnastics (a sport that I participated in from age 4 to 17) and my love for working with children.
In March of 2013 our family moved to Mount Dora, and I am happy to say, we are here to stay! Over the years I have found that working with children is so rewarding and fulfilling. It is truly amazing to watch a child grow, learn, and create friendships right before your eyes!  I complete CEU's each year and hold a current certification in CPR & First Aid for professionals. I take great pride in what I do, and I truly believe in each and every child has been blessed with their own special magic that they are going to share with this great big world!
